“Husband & Wife” is one of our most personal songs to date. The track was produced with Peter Katis at Tarquin Studio in Bridgeport, featuring Owen Pallett, and their string work for Arcade Fire and The Last Shadow Puppets has long been an inspiration to us.

After the arrangement with Peter Katis at Tarquin Studio in Bridgeport began to take shape, Lourdes, Nick and Suzie-Lou met in Amsterdam, where they recorded a unique vocal arrangement in a small backyard studio.

Every moment spent with our friends and collaborators has been an absolute gift, and we’re deeply grateful for it. “New Year’s Face” marks the beginning of a new chapter for us… Thanks to the brilliant Peter Katis for his magic, who not only produced, recorded and mixed the album, but also immediately understood the songs and captured the emotional weight we had in mind. So many of Peter’s albums are among our all-time favorites, such an honor.
